how it works

account types

1) Parent/Sponsor The Parent creates an account for herself and then creates a Patient account for her child. The Parent account is also called the Sponsor account because this person pays for the Patient account after the free trial.
2) Patient The Patient account includes a Profile and Journal section. This is where the Parents and Treatment Team members record their observations, goals, and treatment summaries. They can also post files, pictures and videos to this account.
3) Treatment Team The Treatment Team members have their own accounts, allowing them to sign in and interact with the Patient's Profile and Journal. The Parent can control the level of access for all the Treatment Team members.

the Profile

The Profile view provides an overall snapshot of where the Patient is at on the road to healing. It includes the Patient's diagnoses, diet, medications, treatment plans, goals and objectives.
Parents or select Treatment Team members can keep the Profile up to date as changes are made to the Patient's interventions. New Profile entries can be added to make sure all of the Patient's information can be found on one page. An unlimited number of files, photos and videos can be attached to the Profile entries.
Parents can set Access Levels for each Treatment Team member for each of the Profile entries.

the Journal

The Journal view provides a daily view of all the Patient's events. Parents and Treatment Team members can enter events in real-time or wait until a more convinient time.
Journal Events include the date, time, descripion and detailed attributes as drop-down boxes, allowing for quick and consistent data entry. An unlimited number of files, photos and videos can be attached to the Journal events.
Optional Email Notifications allow the Parents and Treatment Team members to stay informed of the Patient's activities in real-time.
Parents can set Access Levels for each Treatment Team member for each of the Journ event types.

the Update Feed

The Update Feed view provides a chronological view of the Patient's activities. The list of Journal entries can be filtered by Date Range and Event Type.
Health Professionals find the Update Feed an invaluable resource as it allows them to quickly review their Patients' recent history in order to recommend appropriate interventions.

the Access Report

Privacy and Security are the highest priority at Asher's Journal. The Access Report allows the Parent to review the access levels granted to each of the Treatment Team members.
The Access Levels determine if a Treatment Team member can manage, edit or view the Patient's information. There are four Access Levels for Profile and Journal entries.
  • Administrator
  • Editor
  • Commentator
  • Viewer
  • No Access
